1980 Mariner 36

Sarayu is an aft cockpit Mariner 36 which has recently undergone extensive upgrades to equip the boat for extended cruising. The design benefits from a deep aft cockpit with wheel to provide protection and comfort in the elements. The owner's cabin is a central forward v berth for comfort overnighting at anchor, and features a new memory foam mattress, as does the guest aft cabin. A u-shape galley with additional countertop extension makes cooking an ease, and Sarayu benefits from a replaced Force 10 gimbaled propane stove, microwave, and new fridge or freezer unit. The central saloon table and seating can easily accommodate guests for dinner or to overnight.

On deck, sailors benefit from the wide weatherdecks. Sarayu has new guardrail netting installed for additional protection. An extensive new canvas package, including bimini, dodger, connector and cockpit side panels is perfect for the elements, and is complimented by the new, matching mainsail cover. The new owners will also benefit from recent upgrades including new standing rigging, upper and lower shrouds and turnbuckles, plus an arch ready for solar panels.
